Our 10 Responsible Travel Commitment #1. Charity begins at home.
Home for 13 Weeks Travel is the UK and we are planting 13 trees a year which is the number of weeks our luxury travel experiences take place in a year. We are reducing our carbon footprints and supporting projects who protect biodiversity.
Our 10 Responsible Travel Commitment #2. Abandon Plastic Usage.
Everyone coming on 13 Weeks Travel luxury experiences is given an eco-friendly, reusable, and personalised water bottle which they use during our trip and long after it’s over. It’s our commitment to reducing the single-use of plastic bottles.
Our 10 Responsible Travel Commitment #3. Support the local community and local businesses.
We create economic empowerment for local communities by working directly with local businesses and create employment opportunities for locals and those that need them most.

Giving back to local communities is ingrained in the DNA of 13 Weeks Travel. We seek out opportunities to give back to local communities through education provision, support for child protection and we volunteer our time at speaking and understanding the needs of local communities.

We have made a conscious decision to plan our experiences in the best way to reduce carbon footprints. Where available, we use electric cars, traditional boats, bicycles, and scooters.

13 Weeks Travel understands the impact of respecting local cultures and customs and we have zero tolerance for our clients who don’t understand the value of respecting local cultures and customs.

Our luxury experiences are curated to consider the impact of over-tourism. We travel to destinations less travelled and seek to travel in the off-season.
